Nuestro bello municipio de El Chal, Pet\u00e9n es rico en cultura, tradici\u00f3n y gastronom\u00eda, muestra de ello es la preparaci\u00f3n del delicioso Kak’ik que se elabora en las diferentes comunidades del interior de nuestro municipio.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

El Kak’ik es una sopa de chompipe, chunto o guajolote, t\u00edpica de la gastronom\u00eda Guatemalteca, es una comida de origen prehisp\u00e1nico que permanece hasta nuestros d\u00edas.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

El nombre es de origen maya: deriva de las palabras q’eqchi’: kak e ik y en el a\u00f1o 2007 fue declarado parte del Patrimonio Cultural, en el municipio de El Chal se prepara con un toque \u00fanico y especial, es acompa\u00f1ado por la tradicional bebida de cacao para un mejor deleite.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

En esta ocasi\u00f3n los grupos de mujeres organizadas de los Caser\u00edos de Santa Amelia y San Rafael Amatitl\u00e1n por medio de estas fotograf\u00edas, nos muestran un poco de la elaboraci\u00f3n de este delicioso platillo, el cual se ha vuelto parte de la gastronom\u00eda chalence de la cual nos sentimos muy orgullosos.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
