La Municipalidad de El Chal y el se\u00f1or Alcalde El\u00edas Calder\u00f3n \u00c1lvarez por medio de la oficina forestal municipal y el Instituto Nacional de Bosques – INAB – iniciaron con la segunda fase de la elaboraci\u00f3n de la pol\u00edtica forestal municipal.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

La segunda fase consiste en el an\u00e1lisis y la sistematizaci\u00f3n de los datos obtenidos en los tres talleres de consulta popular elaborados en la fase n\u00famero uno, en los cuales se cont\u00f3 con la participaci\u00f3n de los presidentes y representantes de COCODE de las cinco regiones del municipio.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

En un trabajo en conjunto, se busca identificar los problemas y plasmar soluciones a corto, mediano y largo plazo, con el fin de propiciar la articulaci\u00f3n de esfuerzos con entidades gubernamentales para restaurar la cobertura forestal del municipio.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

A nivel nacional solo 24 municipios han creado su pol\u00edtica forestal y en Pet\u00e9n, el Chal ser\u00eda la primera municipalidad en tener definidas sus acciones para mejorar la cobertura forestal de sus \u00e1reas.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
